Steiner’s recent works explore fluid, hybrid identities beyond binaries like woman/man or human/animal. Inspired by mythological and pop-cultural hybrids, her art creates experimental subjects. The tentacular symbolizes transformation, transgression, and evolving identity — themes that resonate throughout our exhibition »Fluid States«, co-curated with the feminist art and literature magazine KORALLE.
