THE EXHIBITION »FLUID STATES«, CO-CURATED WITH THE FEMINIST ART AND LITERATURE MAGAZINE KORALLE, PRESENTS SELECTED WORKS BY FIVE ARTISTS. THEIR WORKS EXPLORE THE INTERSTICES OF IDENTITY, TRANSFORMING PERSONAL AND OBSERVATIONAL EXPERIENCES INTO VISUAL NARRATIVES ABOUT BODIES, TRANSFORMATION, AND CONNECTION.

DEBORAH PERROTTA IS A BRAZILIAN PHOTOGRAPHER AND FILMMAKER BASED IN VIENNA. OFTEN THROUGH SELF-PORTRAITS, HER WORK EXPLORES THEMES OF IDENTITY, MEMORY, AND FORGETFULNESS.

In her work, Deborah Perrotta explores disintegration and the fragmentation of identity. Through deconstructed images, she reveals new ways of seeing the body and memory — themes also central to the works on view in our exhibition »Fluid States«, co-curated with the feminist art and literature magazine KORALLE.
