THE LIBRARY OF FRAGRANCE - Linen
The Library of Fragrance Linen is exactly what you expect – clean, crisp, sheer, transparent, and oh, so lovely. Think of the best crisp, linen sheets you ever experienced on a warm summer’s eve. That is the experience we sought to capture here.
Linen is actually one of the oldest textiles in the world, made through a complex and laborious process from flax. Linen was sometimes used as currency in ancient Egypt. Egyptian mummies were wrapped in linen as a symbol of light and purity, and as a display of wealth.
The Library of Fragrance consists of over 300 different fragrances inspired by everyday objects and experiences. Beautiful scents that surround us every day are isolated and highlighted in wearable formats. Choosing and wearing a LOF fragrance is a personal expression of an emotional response triggered by our sense of smell. That makes LOF the only fragrance house that is all about the user, and not about the designer.
